Privacy policy

RS Classic Continuum is a small private RuneScape Classic server run by The RS Classic Continuum Team. This page says what we keep about you and why.

What we keep

Your character's name, and its password - stored only as a one-way hash we cannot read back.
Your email address, if you give one, and whether you confirmed it.
The internet address you signed up from and last logged in from.
Your game data: levels, items, quests and where you are in the world.
Whether you are a subscriber, and until when.

What we use it for

To run the game and keep your character.
To send you account emails: confirming your address and resetting your password. Nothing else - no newsletters, no marketing.
To stop abuse, such as too many sign-ups or password guesses from one address.

Who else sees it

We never sell or share your data. It is stored with the services that host the game: Amazon Web Services (the game server and its email), GitHub (this website and the downloads) and Cloudflare (the domain name). They handle it only to provide those services.

Cookies

None for tracking or advertising. Signing in stores a sign-in token in your browser; signing out removes it.

Age

You must be 13 or older to create an account.

Deleting your data

Accounts and characters are not deleted. You can change your email address at any time on My account.
